All-on-Six Implants

The All-on-6 dental implants procedure is used to replace the entire upper or lower set of teeth. This dental procedure is used to restructure a patient’s mouth, generally done when a patient has lost all of their teeth in one or both jaws. This process allows the patient the option to replace all of their teeth in an arch with six dental implants and a denture that is permanently placed in their mouth. All-on-6 Implants offers patients a stronger and healthier replacement option than standard removable dentures.

The All-on-6 dental implant procedure creates a permanent prosthesis to restore your smile and function by using six dental implants. Six implants are positioned in the lower or upper jawbone to anchor a denture in place permanently. After conducting a comprehensive examination, digital x-rays, and possibly a 3D Cone Beam CT-Scan, Dr. Figueroa will sit down with you and review your treatment plan, the sequence of events, and answer any questions you may have about the procedure.

Over time, the implants positioned in the jaw will fuse with the jawbone, representing the natural roots and giving back a natural smile.

Many people have difficulty wearing removable dentures for a whole host of reasons. Two implants placed on the lower jaw or four implants on the upper jaw can be a life changing experience. These implants will allow the patient to regain stability, security and function for years to come. Attachments are placed on the implants and on the inside of the dentures which allows the denture to snap on to the implants.
